The reasons why I chose the pictures for the movie poster, was because it mainly show the things that are told in the story. Like who the family was, the main character of the story (Anne Frank), the annex they lived in for two years, and the most important thing, the actual diary Anne Frank wrote in during the stay at the annex. It is like a sum of all the main objects in The Diary of Anne Frank put on my movie poster.
I chose the colors for the pictures, text, and background is to show how long ago the Frank's and the rest of the group lived. The background i chose was sort of like a worn out paper, just like in Anne's diary, to let the people who see my poster how again long ago this was and how they used this kind of paper back then. The colors were just kind of like brown, black, and white. Mainly the pictures that i found on the internet were taken while they were still alive and shows how they didn't have cameras that took colored pictures, just black and white. The font is black because they didn't use colored or glittered font like they do today, they just used mostly black ink to write out papers and other things.
I chose my cast as my friends because their personalities matched eached character i put them as. Like my friend that i picked as Anne has a personality similar to her's, wants to be famous or an actress, writes all her feelings instead of telling them, and other things. I tried to match how they act or their characteristics to a character in the story so i can visualize the actual story outside of the book in real life.
